VJ Visuals for LSP — Custom Animation Set for a Large‑Scale Concert

This project was my first experience performing as a VJ on a large stage. For the major concert of the band LSP, I created a full set of custom visuals designed specifically for the unique layout of the fragmented LED screens used at the venue.

Concept and Structure
Each song in the setlist received its own thematic animation. To make the visuals responsive and performance‑ready, I structured the material into two categories:
– Verse loops — calmer, more atmospheric visuals
– Chorus loops — more dynamic, energetic animations for high‑intensity moments
This approach allowed for smooth live transitions and precise control during the show.

Production Process
The visual pack was created using a mix of techniques and tools:
– sourcing and integrating selected GIFs from the internet
– drawing frame‑by‑frame animation for expressive elements
– building compositions and adding motion in Adobe After Effects
– adapting all visuals to the irregular screen configuration

The combination of hand‑drawn animation, found media, and custom motion graphics helped create a diverse and engaging visual language for the concert.

The show ran smoothly from start to finish. All transitions, loops, and cues worked in sync with the music, resulting in a cohesive and impressive live performance.

It was a significant milestone in my VJ career and a successful debut on a large stage.
