Part 4. Commercial Projects

Animated Promo Series for Pop Farm (2016–2018)

In 2016–2018, when concert promotion was still primarily happening on VK and Facebook, I created a series of animated ads for the event agency Pop Farm. These included GIF‑based promos, animated event headers, and other early social‑media formats.

The animations were simple by today’s standards, but they were made for major international artists such as The Prodigy, Imagine Dragons, X Ambassadors, alt‑J, Ghostmane, Borns and others. This period became an important early stage in my motion‑design career, giving me experience in producing fast, eye‑catching promotional content for large concerts.

Opening Show Animation for the International ICT Forum TIBO

For the opening dance performance at the international ICT forum TIBO, I was commissioned to create a dynamic animation that would synchronize with both the music and the choreography. The production timeline was extremely tight, so the entire visual sequence had to be developed quickly and efficiently.

The project included:

– Animation of the event’s logo and typography
– Integration of dancer footage into the visual effects
– Rhythm‑based transitions aligned with the soundtrack
– A clean, modern aesthetic suitable for a large LED stage setup

EPAM Corporate Show — Minimalist Interactive Graphics for Dance Performance

The EPAM corporate event required visuals that would support a choreographed dance performance while maintaining a clean, modern aesthetic. The atmosphere leaned toward a minimal style — simple shapes, controlled motion and elegant transitions. My task was to create visuals that interact with dancers and complement the stage lighting.

Animated Intro & VJ Content for Mara Fest

For Mara Fest, I created a set of branded visuals for the main stage LED screen — including an animated intro, festival maps, logo variations, and other elements matching the event’s visual identity. I also performed live VJing for several artists, including Intelligency, using custom content.

Motion Design Series for Promoting an NFT Collection

I produced a large series of motion‑designed animations created to bring an NFT collection to life and enhance its visibility across social media and NFT platforms. The goal was to transform static artworks into dynamic, eye‑catching pieces that would stand out in fast‑scrolling feeds and marketplace galleries.

The series included:

– Animated character reveals
– Loopable motion sequences
– Stylized transitions and effects
– Variations optimized for different platforms (Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, NFT marketplaces)

Each animation was crafted to highlight the unique traits of the NFTs, reinforce the collection’s visual identity, and increase engagement during the promotional campaign.

Hasbro Toys — Multi‑Wall Projection Animation

For this product presentation, I turned a set of static character images into a full animated environment spread across four walls and five columns.

The full process included:

– animating the provided characters and toy elements
– designing complementary backgrounds and graphic details
– creating hand‑drawn frame‑by‑frame elements in Toon Boom
– adapting the visuals to the multi‑surface projection layout
– ensuring smooth looping for continuous playback

I built the main motion in After Effects and added hand‑drawn details in Toon Boom to give the characters a bit of personality and charm.
The final setup felt like a small window into the toy universe — just enough for guests to step into it for a moment.

Animated Background for a Children’s Song Contest — 2D/3D Hybrid Visuals

For a children’s song contest performance, I created a bright, energetic visual background combining 3D animation in Cinema 4D with 2D motion design in After Effects. The goal was to support a fast, upbeat dance number with dynamic patterns that feel playful, rhythmic, and full of movement.

I built a set of looping 3D shapes and colorful geometric elements, then layered them with 2D accents to keep the visuals light and expressive. All animation was tightly synchronized to the music track, matching beats, transitions, and key moments of the choreography. The result is a vivid, joyful stage visual that enhances the performance without overwhelming the young performers.

Junior Eurovision — Interactive Stage Graphics for Belarusian Performance

For one of the dance acts at Junior Eurovision, I created the complete animated backdrop for the performance. All visuals were produced in After Effects and Cinema 4D, forming a unified stage environment where the background and on‑stage elements worked together as a single visual space.

The choreography was tightly synchronized with the animation, with motion cues in the graphics matching the dancers’ movements and transitions. This integration helped enhance the narrative of the performance and created a cohesive, immersive visual world around the young artist.

Scenic Loop Creation for the “Tikhiy Don” Theatre Production (Remote Work)

For the Moscow theatre production of “Tikhiy Don”, I remotely created a series of looped scenic backgrounds representing the landscapes and locations of the story. Working in Cinema 4D, I built atmospheric environments using 3D scans of natural landscapes, which allowed the visuals to feel authentic, textured, and grounded in real geography.

The loops were designed as subtle, cinematic backgrounds that supported the stage action without distracting from the actors. Each scene was crafted to maintain continuity throughout long theatrical segments, creating a cohesive visual world for the production.
